Locals of Caticlan enjoying the shadeWe stayed at an amazing resort called Asya Boracay. I posted the link awhile ago, and it was so much more than we hoped for!
Beach at Caticlan - the airport is on a seperate islandWe were greeted straight off the plane, delivered in air conditioned style to the nearby beach, where we were picked up by a the resorts private boat and instead of being dropped off on the main wharf like everyone else, we were taken to the Resorts private Cove and picked up and taken straight to the resort.
The boat to the left is our boat - check out that clean harbour!On arrival we were greeted by 3 people, one bearing wet facecloths for us to use and ushered to the comfortable seats at reception to enjoy our welcome drinks and meet Chris the concierge.
Welcome to the Private Cove - Ahhhhh!Chris then took us to our room (312) and proceeded to orientate us with it - it smelled AMAZING (mint) and was huge with our own private balcony and MASSIVE shower! He then pulled out a map and showed us great restaurants in the area where he could arrange for us to dine! It was fantastic!
Very tired and over worked girls on the boat over to Boracay!We quickly changed and by 9am we were enjoying the warm Philippines weather in the resorts swimming pool! Heaven!
