What else can I say! Home is where the heart is and my heart is with my family and in Wellington!

Katie and I caught an extremely early flight up complete with some Vogue poses along the way - I believe the cover of Vogue Korea has us gracing it's pages this month!  We arrived to a less than lovely day but picked up our rental car and headed to Lyall Bay for some real Kiwi organic food! Yum!  The Kapiti coast was our next stop and we managed to please the Prenzel man so much that I m sure that he shut up shop straight after we left....10am and trying everything alcoholic lead to alot of purchases!  After visiting Sam and Kelly at Epuni, it was a quick stop for a quick shop and then back to check in and get ready for dinner at Korokoro - oh how I miss these times!

The next day was shopping galore shopping and trying till we dropped at my Welly favourite Frutti!  Lunch involved another favourite -Emma- catching up after a few years of not quite crossing paths.....felt like we had never left!  It was off to finally rectify my hair in Upper Hutt and we emerged beauty queens to go and see my wee man Caleb!  I am now Aunty Amy!!!!! So exciting and he is so gorgeous!

Drinks on our massive balcony was had next with Noel, Raihania, Karl and Kelly and after a late start it was off for dinner and drinks in downtown! Go Katy Perry dance - you know what I mean Katie!

After a slow start it was of the Te Papa to get a good old dose of Kiwiana, stock up on some goodies and then hit the shops and Mac's brewery for some good old Wellington hospitality!  Nicollini's was fantastic as always for dinner and after grabbing a doggy bag it was one brisk walk before taking the scenic route to the airport and jetting off back to Chch!  Man, did I not want to leave! Katie still has sore arms from holding me back!
