Laowai's - You get away with anything!

Ladies Night - Anna, me, Kiki, Justyna and Barbara (the band even played the song for us)

A hunting we will go, and hunt we did! For my first weekend back in the country we decided a girls night would be just the trick to help push away those weekly work blues and in true form we delivered!

I still can't believe that I have been back less than a week! It seems like a lifetime...in a good way though! This week brings some major decisions to make and a lot of catching up to do!

After just being told off for lighting sparklers by the Chinese management, the lawai manager pulled rank and let us!

Sending all my love south,

Answering my own question

Why do we do it:
Balancing the elephants

Trying to blow it down
Taking photos of me balancing - trying to put me off

Apparently this is a fighter plane....How to make maths fun!

Lights, camera and back to the action!

Well unfortunatley all holidays end and it was back to MY real world: China!

After a pretty eventful plane ride, it was hello good old Wuxi and off to stock up the fridge:
China: Where bigger is best!
With all International Schools in the midst of an Economic Crisis we are bound to feel the pressure, Monday night was out to celebrate the evaporation of the Year 4 class and to cheer Anna up with a nice dinner!
China: Where expats eat to feel better!
To top it all off, China's energy efficientcy is amazing! They have finally installed our fluro lights for us outside our apartment....come on now, we have to match all the rest of fluro China! It's only fair!
My only question is why?
Arohanui,
Love you guys,
Miss you already! xxoo

Nearing the end!

My lovely sister and fantastic brother!

After a few rather eventful days involving my sister, her video camera and a rather nice looking boy, it was time to stock up on everything, do all the things I missed....oh lord...movies I love you...and then culminate it all off with drinks at Justin's on Thursday night! Go Waitangi Day on Friday!

Trying to keep up with these boys was a challenge that I didn't take lightly and jumped in around 5pm whole heartedly! Good times!

This is the life!

The last of the litter!

My beautiful family!
Part of the reason for my trip back to the lovely home country was for my sisters 21st! She is the last in this Martin line and it was time to party!
It was also a great opportunity for me to catch up with relatives and people that I havn't seen for awhile.
Rather than rattle on, I will just upload the photos of Mum and Dad's beautiful home and my beautiful looking sister - all grown up? Haha, she'll kill me for that! It was Dad's actual birthday too, so double cause for celebration! The first time in 3 years we were all here to celebrate it with him!

Stunning Katie and best buds Gav and Becca
